This page describes the privacy controls available in Almanac. For binding terms about how data is handled, see the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Security information is available in the Trust Center.
Manage conversations
Go to Settings > Account > Data controls to archive or delete conversations.
- Archive all conversations removes conversations from the sidebar while keeping them available in Settings > Archived conversations.
- Delete all conversations permanently removes them.
You can also archive or delete an individual conversation from the sidebar.
Archiving is reversible. Deletion isn’t. Archive conversations when you want to remove them from view without deleting them.
Manage memories
Memories are stored separately from conversations. Select Manage memories to review or delete them.
Deleting a memory prevents Almanac from using it in the future. It doesn’t remove the information from earlier conversation transcripts. See Personalization.
Review sessions and devices
Go to Settings > Account > Sessions to see where you’re signed in. You can end an individual session or select Log out of all devices.
Manage files
Files you upload or create belong to their conversation and are removed when the conversation is deleted. Library files remain available across conversations until you remove them from the Library.
Manage patient data
Patient records you add are private to you. Patients added by launching Almanac from an EHR are private to the person who launched them. A conversation connected to one patient can’t access another patient’s data.
Patient memory is controlled separately from personal memory. See Patients.
Delete your account
Go to Settings > Account > Delete account to close your account and remove its data. This action can’t be undone.
If you administer an organization, Almanac shows how deletion will affect other members before you confirm.
