Sign in and start working

Any browser on any computer, including the workstation you are borrowing between patients.

Your work follows your account

Conversations, patients, Library, and plugins are the same ones you left on another machine.

Always the current version

You load the latest Almanac each time, and your organization's settings apply as soon as they change.

Quickstart

Get started on the web

Sign in, turn on the tools you work with, choose where to work, and send your first message.

  1. Go to almanac.chat

Open almanac.chat in your browser, then sign in with your Almanac account. See Authentication if your organization signs you in through its own identity provider.

  2. Turn on the tools you use

Select Plugins in the sidebar, then turn on the tools and connectors relevant to your work. Keeping the list focused helps Almanac choose the right tool for each task. See Plugins.

  3. Choose where to work

Start a conversation, or open a patient to work with their chart in context. Press Command-K to search your conversations, your patients, and, with an EHR connected, the EHR itself. See Patients.

  4. Send your first message

Describe what you want Almanac to do and include any files or context it needs. Drop a document onto the composer, or type @ to point at a file you have already used.

    Summarize the latest evidence

Review changes in a patient's chart

    Draft a patient letter

Use the web app when…

You move between computers

Sign in on a workstation, a laptop, or a shared machine, and pick up the conversation you left somewhere else.

You cannot install software

Nothing is installed and nothing is stored on the computer, which is often what a managed or shared machine allows.

You work from the chart

With your EHR connected, open a patient and work with their context in the same browser you already have open.

You are sharing a screen

Open a conversation in a tab alongside everything else in the room, and show the evidence behind an answer.
